How do u get ride of a ground hog?

i have a ground hog in my garden no matter how long i run the hose in the hole it never fills up. how far do there tunnels run for. the only other hole i see is on the other side of the yard 20 yards away. is this the same hole.How do u get ride of a ground hog?
.what you do is go to a hardware store and pick up groundhog smoke bombs. throw a few smoke bombs in then cover that hole. if you see smoke coming from the hole 20 yards away that is their escape route,they may have more than one.


you have 2 options kill or not kill. there are several ways to kill them.


1 cover all escape routes and drap a bunch of smoke bombs in,then cover that hole.


2 a good pellet rifle.


3 rat poisoning in their hole.


4 they also make traps to catch them .


preferably i hope you will trap them alive and relocate them. use a live trap with green beans,clover or corn for bait then wait.How do u get ride of a ground hog?
I have had this problem for years since I live in the woods. The best way is a ';have a heart'; trap. It is a cage with a trap door that you can get at some garden stores, or hardware stores. After you trap it take it at least a mile away to let go or it will come back. I have found the best bait is apples.
I don't know how to get rid of them, but I do know that if there is one under your shed, DO NOT mistake it for a dog, and pull its tail.. it will turn around and bite you, then everyone at the hospital will laugh at you when you tell them you got bit by a ground hog...
Could be the same hole. The only way I know how to get rid of a ground hog is to watch for him to come out and shoot him! Then you can bake him for supper! ha ha
