Best way to get ride of love handles?

I have this lovely genetic gift which gets more pronounced with every extra pound I carry. I am in shape, and my stomach is flat, but I still have them. Any suggestions that do not involve surgery? Anyone know a secret exercise?Best way to get ride of love handles?
I have the same problem to some extent. Basically thats the last fat on your body that is ever going to go.... so you will probably have to get an insanely low body fat percentage to be rid of them completely. I would suggest instead doing exercises to build up your obliques (the abs on the side of your body), the more muscle you have there the less obvious your love handles will be. You can also do exercise to strengthen your hip flexors and lower abs. Basically work the area around them, the better the rest of you looks the less obvious your love handles will be.Best way to get ride of love handles?

Unfortunately there is no scientific basis for spot reduction. You do need to eat right and exercise consistently for fat loss, you just can't choose when and where you will lose it. There is no point training that will get rid of love handles. You're only option is to reduce your body fat percentage, which means burning more than you chew - exercise in other words. Point exercises are anaerobic, which will build muscle, but will not reduce fat.
