Does Toothpaste really get ride of acne if one puts on there face?

Ok Well I heard that you can do that when your in the shower and You face will clear out. Is this true? And if so should I use it?Does Toothpaste really get ride of acne if one puts on there face?
i think it depends on what kind of skin that you have. but yes it is true. it dries it up. do not put on in the shower, put it on right before you go to bed, and then wash it off in the morning.Does Toothpaste really get ride of acne if one puts on there face?
What happens is the toothpaste dries the hell out of your skin occasionally getting rid of oily pimples. It's unhealthy and a bad idea ot put on your face; you're better off with an actual acne cleanser or tea tree oil, something gentle. All the harsh chemicals in toothpaste are meant for cleaning hard teeth, not soft skin.
it will dry the spots out so make them a little less noticable and less red, but it won't make them go altogether. if you want your acne to go, go to your doctor and get the special cream. it really works.
no, not really. I tried it and saw no difference. It barely even shrunk it and its kinda hard to get rid off when it hardens. I don't recommend it.
ive tried many times and it hasn't worked once.

it may work for certain pimples or skin types, but it hasn't worked for me. and i've tried gel type toothpaste and the creamy kind too, neither work.
It is an old wives tale.

You need something acidic to kill the bacteria that causes acne.

Urine does work however.
they had it on some good morning america show or watever!

but it works for me..its a household remidy but dont over use it
never worked for me
