How do i get ride of the smell of a dead mouse inside my mattress?

Please get rid of it. Mice are known to carry so many diseases, dead or alive. How do i get ride of the smell of a dead mouse inside my mattress?
You really can't save this mattress.... that is disgusting.... throw it out.How do i get ride of the smell of a dead mouse inside my mattress?
If you're deadset against throwing the mattress away, try putting a few sheets of scented dryer sheets (Bounce, etc.) under the mattress. Or sprinkle Carpet Fresh, or Baking Soda, anything similar to that.

Replace the sheets (or resprinkle) every so often. You can continue this even after the smell has gone away.
Throw that mattress to the curb and sleep on the couch until you can replace it.
First take the mattress off the bed, then carry it outside to the trash. Problem solved.
Burn it. I think you need to get rid of it. The sooner the better.
You need to get a new mattress. What you are smelling is the decomposing liquids that exit a body when it is dying. Can be a home to maggots and disease. We had a rat die on a metal piece under my AC unit and the only way we could get rid of the smell was to replace the whole piece because the acids in the decomposing liquid had eaten into the metal. It's strong stuff and to be taken very seriously. It is a biohazzard. Get rid of it now before you get seriously ill!
Mattresses should be replaced every 5 years or so anyway. Chuck it and get a new one. It's probably filled with worse things than dead mice at this point.

The smell is probably the least of your problems. If you simply cannot afford to replace the mattress, you might try Febreze and/or baking soda.
Yukk.... Throw the mattress away right now.. Or cut the whole smelly section off.... Id rather sleep on the hard floor than on that ever again........... :)
Replace the mattress
