How do you get ride of mushrooms in your front yard?

i have all these huge mushrooms popping up in my front yard! How do you get ride of mushrooms in your front yard?
Mushrooms are caused by decaying wood underneath the ground. You really have to let nature take its course and eventually the shrooms will go away. You will just have to pick them out as they pop up.

Good Luck! How do you get ride of mushrooms in your front yard?
How wonderful! Lucky, lucky you! You have faeries dancing in your front yard! You should feel honored! And, if they are morels or puffballs ...mmmmmm those are simply delicous sauteed!

Pull them up or rake them if you must. As mushrooms grow out of moist decomposing matter, try de-thatching and raking and removing all dead and decomposing matter. Sprinkle borax, as this will ';sweeten'; the soil and will moderately discourage spores from taking a hold. Other than than, you will need to remove most of the soil (shoveling will probably tend to increase their growth) and the decaying organic matter that lies underneath the soil (old tree roots, stumps, etc.).

You can ';cover'; the area, i.e., build a gazebo, put down landscaping fabric or plastic and cover with decorative stones (if the spot is near pine trees, do not use limestone, it will hurt your trees, kill them, and provide more fodder for your 'shrooms), pebbles, or sand, or build a raised flower bed.

Fertilize your lawn, as healthy grass will help ';squeeze out'; mushrooms -- grass likes nitrogen-rich soil, mushrooms like carbon-rich soil. Aerate your lawn by de-thatching or having a bunch of golfers or football players troop over your lawn with their spiked shoes on. A little -- and I do mean little -- bleach is often effective on fairy rings and some other mushrooms (sprinkle over area after the golfers have moved on) and will not damage your lawn.

How about creating a mushroom garden? Place some rocks, a few lawn decorations and the like around your mushrooms, and casually mention to friends and neighbors how hard it was for you to get that mushroom garden established -- they will be so impressed!
John H has the right answer they will go away don't worry about them
stomp on 'em
First you stop watering so much
uhhm Stump it, LOL...
Lady S is right, mostly. I'll bet I've answered this question more than any other. Ignore mushrooms in your yard, your garden, wherever. They will do no harm, unless you eat them, and will be gone soon. Now go worry about something important.
