What are some tips to get ride of a torn muscle?

See in dance while i was finishing a little Performance thing i went WAY to fast and jerky when i did my lefts splits unfortunately i tore the muscle biceps femoris,i think, its the muscle right below your butt and every time i stretch it hurts extremely bad. I have rested and tried so much for it to heal but nothing works. Do you have any tips?What are some tips to get ride of a torn muscle?
Alternate with hot and cold pads.
